Be Vibrant: Eco-friendly Goodness All In One Spot

They say you can tell the difference between a ‘normal’ person and a zero-waster, by the size and contents of their handbag.

Small handbags = normal.

Large handbags = filled with all sorts of reusables and definitely on a mission to reduce plastic from the world.

My handbag is medium sized, but… it’s often paired with a backpack, hah. I’m on a mission to reduce plastic from my world (and THE world), and Be Vibrant are helping me do just that.

Starting off as a super-foods, whole-food supplements, and herbal remedies online store, Be Vibrant have expanded their range to include eco-friendly products, natural skincare and household items, to help remove chemicals, plastic, and waste from our homes. Be Vibrant’s online store is FULL of everything and anything you’d need, laid out in a clear and easy format, great for quick online shopping to top up the cleaning cupboard, kitchen, living room, and bathroom.

You know you can trust a brand, when their products arrive in what I call ‘naked’ packaging: just enough to protect the items, but no excess or unnecessary ‘fluff’ that simply goes in the waste bin. They’ve covered all grounds.

I’ve been travelling with Be Vibrant products throughout the month of November, and was thoroughly impressed with the quality of their waste-free items, and durability in handling a month of travel.

Here’s what I think of my Be Vibrant products:

Honeywrap Reusable Food Wraps

Made from organic cotton and beeswax, this was a joy to travel with as a traveller on a budget! It meant I could make food at our little hotel room, and take it with me on the go. I often make my own beeswax wraps, but I’ll be honest… this one sticks together far better than mine, and has lasted way longer (but don’t tell anyone!).

P.S. This is a medium size pictured below.

Meals in Steel Food Containers

I’ve had many leaky container experiences… they are not a fun time, to say the least. In my new leak proof container (the large rectangular size FYI), I’ve stored Subway salads, hot curries, stir fries, and had a few wee picnics like the one pictured below. It has yet to fail me, so the ‘leakproof’ container really does live up to it’s word!

My local Indian restaurant knows me now: they expect I’ll rock up with my Meals in Steel container, and I’ll wait patiently for the extra few minutes it takes for them to serve up the curry.

JOCO Reusable Coffee Cup

I’m no coffee drinker, but this 12oz sexy (yes, a cup can be sexy) reusable cup has been the home to many chai lattes, smoothies, and english breakfast teas. The thermal silicon sleeve means there’s absolutely no risk of feeling the burn, and I love the shape of the mouth piece- that’s always a crucial design feature to get right on any good coffee cup.

Buying a JOCO cup also means $1 is donated to the Seed of Light Collective who promote sustainability in Bali and NZ through theatre! Oh and also, their range of colours at Be Vibrant is phenomenal… my cup matches my bike.

As a rule, I only work with brands I love, use, and can whole heartedly back. This is a sponsored blog (I can't pay my electricity bill with free products), but 100% my own words, photos, and opinion.
